asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on morale of British forces based in Cyprus and on the training given within the sovereign base areas.

The morale of all British Forces serving in Cyprus remains high. They receive regular military training to the maximum extent possible, given their commitment to operational and security duties. They also take full advantage of excellent adventure training and sporting facilities.
