asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations Her Majesty's Government made in the case of the trial of eight Namibians for their alleged contraventions of South Africa's Terrorism Act.

On 24 March, Her Majesty's ambassador in Cape Town made clear in a demarche to the South African Government our concern at evidence of human rights abuses by the security forces in Namibia.
