asked the Secretary of State for Defence what representations he has received about the number of cruise missiles currently based in the United Kingdom.

Most recently, a number of hon. Members tabled questions on this subject which I answered on 24 March.

37.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will seek a meeting with the Belgian Minister of Defence to discuss the decision of the Belgian Government to cease deployment of cruise missiles so long as negotiations on intermediate nuclear forces in Geneva are in progress.

There will be an opportunity to meet Defence Ministers from other NATO countries at the spring meeting of the NATO Nuclear Planning Group.
