asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many council-owned houses in the borough of Shrewsbury and Atcham have been sold since the implementation of the Housing Act 1980.

In the first nine months of 1986–87, Shrewsbury and Atcham council has reported selling 108 dwellings, of which 107 were under the right to buy scheme implemented in the 1980 Housing Act.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many council houses have been sold in the northern region in each year since 1980.

For the first three quarters of 1986–87 there were an estimated 4,320 council house sales in the northern region.
