asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) whether he or his Department has been consulted by the United States of America on that country's contingency plan for the deployment of chemical weapons in Europe; and if he will make a statement;

(2) whether the United States contingency plans For the deployment of chemical weapons in Europe in time of crisis include options for the deployment of chemical weapons in the United Kingdom.
