asked the Paymaster General what is his policy towards the distribution of the Manpower Services Commission pack, "Action for Jobs" by persons outside his Department.

The "Action for Jobs" booklet is a guide to over one million opportunities available through over 30 employment, enterprise and training programmes. The opportunities are freely available to a wide range of people and we have therefore encouraged as large a distribution of the booklet as possible. This includes distribution through banks, post offices and other organisations so as to reach as many people as can benefit from it. Over 5 million copies have been taken up so far.
