Mr. Bill Walker, supported by Mr. Allan Stewart, Mr. John McFall, Mr. Henry McLeish, Mr. James Wallace, Mr. Alex Salmond, Sir Hector Monro, Mr. Roger Sims, and Mr. Nicholas Fairbairn, presented a Bill to make provision as to the definition of Scotch Whisky and as to the manufacture and sale of whisky, and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 11 December and to be printed.
