To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he has any information about the level of quality control involved in condom manufacture; and if he will make a statement.

The level of quality control involved in condom manufacture in respect of products which bear the BSI Kitemark is that prescribed by BSI's certification arrangements. The manufacturers licensed to use the Kitemark are required to maintain quality systems complying with British Standard 5750.

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what has been the total amount of retail condom sales in each of the last 24 months in (a) cash value and (b) unit supply.
