To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he intends to follow the proposed changes to the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 announced by the Secretary of State for Employment on 28 October; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. I will be bringing forward legislative proposals in due course to replicate whatever changes are made in Great Britain. Likewise a consultation document on the proposed changes to the Northern Ireland legislation will be issued in the near future.
