To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a further statement on the Royal Navy's minesweeping operations in the Gulf.

The Royal Navy's mine countermeasures vessels in the Gulf have now completed their operations off Qatar, during which they were joined by Netherlands and Belgian MCMVs. Five mines were found, bringing the total detected and destroyed by the RN MCMVs since their arrival in the region to 10.
