To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what subjects were discussed at his last meeting with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Ireland.

I last met representatives of the Irish Government at the Intergovernmental Conference on 16 November. As noted in the joint statement issued after the meeting, a copy of which has been placed in the Library, the discussion centered on key aspects of the security situation on which both sides agreed on the need for a very positive response.
