To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received from the National League of the Blind and Disabled regarding abolition of free eye tests; and if he will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what reply he is sending to the representations made to him by the general secretary of the National League of the Blind and Disabled in regard to his proposal to abolish free eye tests; and if he will make a statement.

I understand that the league has writen to my right hon. Friend, but its letter has not yet been received.
