41.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he plans to implement the integrated rural development plan for Northern Ireland, prepared and adopted by the European Parliament; and if he will make a statement.

I am satisfied that the continued operation of existing administrative and financial arrangements, including the assistance available from the European Community, provide the appropriate means for tackling the social and economic problems in rural areas in Northern Ireland.
