To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many Rosyth dockyard workers have undergone whole body scanning (a) in each year since 1981 and (b) since April 1987.

Whole body scanning is voluntary and has been made available for all who wished to have it. Since 1981 and up to 6 April 1987, the number of Rosyth dockyard workers who have undergone whole body scanning each year is:
