Single Payments

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services how many single payments and at what cost were made by his Department's offices situated in (a) Liverpool, (b) Knowsley, (c) Sefton, (d) St. Helens, (e) Wirral, (f) Clwyd and (g) Gwynedd during 1986.

The numbers of single payments made during the financial years April 1985 to April 1986 and April 1986 to April 1987 in the Department's local offices will be placed in the Library as soon as possible. The total amounts of those payments for each financial year have been placed in the Library.

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what amount was paid out in single payments through his Department's offices covering Peckham in 1985–86.
