To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what is her policy towards the extent to which London Regional Transport's subsidy from London's ratepayers should be replaced by resources from fare increases.

The level and distribution of fares is a matter from LRT. To the extent that fare increases reduce the subsidy to LRT, the ratepayer benefits through a reduced levy.
