To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps Her Majesty's Government are taking in order to aid those Third world countries which are over dependent on the production of sugar to diversify from their production towards other commodities.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer my hon. Friend the Minister for Overseas Development gave the hon. Member for Birkenhead (Mr. Field) on 24 November, at column 118.
