To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many representations he has received during 1986 and 1987 about the bus services in (a) the Greater Glasgow area, (b) Birmingham and (c) Greater London.

Bus policy in Scotland is the responsibility of my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland. However, I understand that he received a total of 102 representations about bus services in Greater Glasgow during 1986 and 1987, 68 of which related to changes to a single school service. I received 17 representations regarding Birmingham and 440 in respect of Greater London.
