To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what information he has as to whether my losses arising from the most recent contract for sprinter trains awarded by British Rail will be taken into account when the contract for the sale of British Rail Engineering workshops is negotiated or finalised.

The British Railways Board does not expect BREL to make a loss on this order.
