Heart Campaign

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services which food retailers have associated themselves with the "Look After Your Heart" campaign, sponsored by his Department.

[holding answer 16 December 1987]: The following food retailing organisations have associated themselves with the campaign during its first seven months by way of promotional activity directed at the public:

  • J. H. Dewhurst Ltd., Butchers
  • Tesco Stores Ltd.
In addition, more than 50 industrial and commercial companies have undertaken to carry forward the campaign's objectives with their employees. These include the following associated with food retailing:

  • Boots plc
  • Marks and Spencer plc
  • Oxford and Swindon Co-Operative Society
  • Whitbread and Co. plc
