Advisory Committees

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list in the Official Report the names of his advisory committees, together with an indication of those whose members are required to sign a declaration under, or who have otherwise had drawn to their attention, the provisions of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act.

The advisory committees which report to me are:

  • Agriculture Advisory Panel for Wales
  • All Wales Advisory Panel on Development of Services for Mentally Handicapped People
  • All Wales Committee on Drug Misuse
  • Ancient Monuments Board for Wales
  • Committee for the Welsh Scheme for the Development of Health and Social Research
  • Committee on Opportunities for Volunteering
  • Committee for Under Fives Initiative
  • Hill Farming Sub Committee for Wales
  • Historic Buildings Council for Wales
  • Housing Management Advisory Panel for Wales
  • Library and Information Services Council (Wales)
  • Local Government Boundary Commission
  • Place Names Advisory Committee
  • Wales Advisory Body for Local Authority Higher Education
  • Welsh Committee for Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education
  • Welsh Committee for Postgraduate Pharmaceutical Education
  • Welsh Dental Committee
  • Welsh Industrial Development Advisory Board
  • Welsh Medical Committee
  • Welsh Nursing and Midwifery Committee
  • Welsh Optical Committee
  • Welsh Pharmaceutical Committee
  • Welsh Scientific Advisory Committee.
Of these advisory committees only the members of the Welsh Industrial Development Advisory Board are required to sign a declaration under the Official Secrets Act.
