Invalidity Pensioners

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services how many (a) men and (b) women invalidity pensioners are claiming for an adult dependent; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 30 November, at column 468. Of the 366,300 invalidity pensioners referred to in that reply, 364,600 were men and 1,700 women.
