To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give extra cash for new projects in Wales as bid for by the drug advisory committees additional to recurrent expenditure; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 17 December 1987]: Our officials have these bids under consideration and decisions on applications will be made public early in the new year.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will grant £60,000 for new anti-drug projects to the Clwyd drug advisory committee; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 17 December 1987]: Clwyd health authority has bid for £43,600 for new projects and the merit of this bid is being considered along with the others received from district health authorities and voluntary organisations in Wales.
