Polonium 210 (Windscale Fire)

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy when the first official mention was made of the release of polonium 210 in the 1957 Windscale fire, giving details of the source, date and place of publication.

Two reports which referred to polonium were produced by Atomic Energy Authority employees in 1958. The references are as follows:
