Travelling People

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what provisions exist for the education of the children of travelling people in Northern Ireland.

These children may attend any grant-aided school or further education establishment in Northern Ireland.

However in the Belfast area specific provision is made at St. Paul's primary school, Cavendish square where some 140 such pupils are enrolled and the teaching staff complement is six.
