To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the Boundary Commission for Wales intends to conduct any supplementary review of European parliamentary constituencies.

The commission has informed me of its intention to consider the making of a supplementary report on three European parliamentary constituencies in Wales. These are Mid and West Wales, South East Wales and South Wales.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the Boundary Commission intends to conduct any supplementary reviews of European Parliamentary constituencies in England.

The commission has informed me that it intends to consider the making of a supplementary report on the following 34 European parliamentary constituencies in England:

  • Durham
  • Cleveland and Yorkshire North
  • York
  • Humberside
  • Lancashire Central
  • Lancashire East
  • Yorkshire West
  • Cheshire West
  • Cheshire East
  • Derbyshire
  • Cambridge and Bedfordshire North
  • Suffolk
  • Oxford and Buckinghamshire
  • Bedfordshire South
  • Hertfordshire
  • Essex South West
  • Essex North East
  • Bristol
  • Wiltshire
  • Cornwall and Plymouth
  • Sheffield
  • Nottingham
  • Lincolnshire
  • Shropshire and Stafford
  • Staffordshire East
  • Midlands Central
  • Leicester
  • Devon
  • Somerset and Dorset West
  • Dorset East and Hampshire West
  • Hampshire Central
  • Wight and Hampshire East
