To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) if he will list all transport studies relating to London and the south-east (a) proposed, (b) under way or (c) completed within the last year by or on behalf of his Department, British Rail and London Regional Transport; and if he will give details of each inquiry of the estimated time scale, the estimated cost and the names of any consultant firms involved;(2) if the will list all transport studies relating to London and the south-east

It would not be practicable to list the many studies relating to transport in London and the south-east in which my Department is involved by reason of its day-to-day responsibilities. Studies conducted by LDDC, BR and LRT are matters for the managements of those organisations.
