To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services when his Department's office at Yeoman street, Leicester, will supply the regional chairman of social security appeals tribunals in Nottingham its statement of case relating to the appeal against refusal of supplemen-tary benefit by a constituent of the hon. Member for Rutland and Melton, departmental reference number 103/22797, whose name and address has been given to his private office; and when the appeal will be dealt with.

[holding answer 22 February 1988]: The constituent to whom my hon. Friend refers lodged an appeal on 23 December 1987. The adjudication officer has forwarded his submission of the facts of the case to the social security appeals tribunal in Nottingham. The case has been listed for hearing on 8 April 1988.
