To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he remains satisfied with progress in the fight against terrorism in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement.

I shall not be satisfied until the evil of terrorism is eradicated. I believe that no level of terrorism can ever be justified. We will continue to give every support to the security forces in their efforts to defeat the men of violence and to press for the closest possible co-operation between the RUC and the Garda Siochana.
