To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the latest situation on the West Bank.

The situation remains tense. We advise those proposing to travel to the occupied territories to postpone their journey if possible. We deeply deplore the repressive measures taken by Israel and call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, in order to reduce the dangerous level of tension.
