To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has made to the Israeli Government about the activities of their armed forces in the occupied territories.

We have made clear to the Israeli authorities—both in bilateral contacts and in demarches with our European partners — our view that Israel should refrain from repressive measures which violate international law and human rights standards.
