[holding answer 1 March 1988]: I regret that this information is not available in the form requested, nor for 1987. The farm business survey does, however, allow estimates to be made of the proportional breakdown of farm businesses according to broad income band and information relating to the 1986–87 accounting year, ending on average in February 1987, is set out in the table."Register of Government-Funded Agriculture/Environment R and D in the United Kingdom" produced by my Department, copies of which I am placing in the Library of the House.
