To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he now has plans to introduce customs clearance for passengers on Channel tunnel trains terminating at London, Waterloo.

No. The most efficient and practicable customs control will be airport-type red and green channels at Waterloo. We are therefore planning on this basis.
