To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether any limitations are planned on activities at RAF Wethersfield in the light of proposals for expansion of Stansted airport.

RAF Wethersfield is a standby deployment base at which no regular flying activity currently takes place, aside from weekend gliding by air cadets. Therefore any question of the expansion of Stansted airport affecting base activities does not arise.
