19.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what steps he plans to take to compensate for the relative disadvantages in health experienced by residents of (a) Mid-Glamorgan and (b) other parts of Wales.

Relative health needs are taken account of in the formulae used in determining the allocation of resources to district health authorities.
