To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what representations he has received from representatives of sufferers from myalgic encephalomyelitis; and if he will make a statement.

In the past year we have received two representations from hon. Members, and an application from the national chairman of the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Association for grant-aid under section 64 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968. We shall be making our decision on this application shortly.
