To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what information he has as to the number of (a) road accidents and (b) fatalities which occur amongst (i) children (ii) adults in inner-city areas, (iii) suburban areas and (iv) rural areas and what estimates he has of the relative rates per head of population.

The information requested is not available.The STATS 19 road accident reporting system does not identify inner-city areas or distinguish between suburban and rural areas.
