Private Health Care

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is his policy towards the size of the private health care sector in Northern Ireland relative to that in the rest of the United Kingdom.

The Government welcome the contribution at present being made by the private health care sector and would be happy to see further co-operation between the private and public sectors in the provision of health care in the Province.
