To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many road accidents in each of the last five years involving heavy goods vehicles and public service vehicles have been caused by the driver suffering a heart attack.

The STATS 19 road accident reporting system does not collect data on the causes of road accidents. The number of road accidents involving heavy goods vehicles and buses and coaches during the past three years are given in the table:
