Prison Workshops

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many workshops there are; and for how many hours they were open in the most recent convenient week at each of the following prisons: Birmingham, Leeds, Pentonville, Manchester, Wandsworth, Wormwood Scrubs and Holloway.

In the week ending 28 February 1988 the following numbers of industrial workshops were in operation in each of the listed prisons:
