To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress has been made regarding the computerisation of hospital patient administration systems and their introduction by health boards.

Contracts were signed today by the Common Services Agency for the Scottish Health Service with Honywell Bull Ltd. and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Ltd. for the provision of systems and hardware for the following hospitals.
