To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether all the finance proposed for the lower Don valley urban development corporation is new money; and if there will be no reduction in existing allocations of finance to Sheffield.

The proposed urban development corporation would bring additional Government resources to Sheffield of about £50 million over the next seven years.
