To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about the purpose of the recent Royal Air Force official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.

It is normal practice, in the interests of good relations, to maintain links with a wide range of friendly countries, including the Kingdom of Morocco. The recent visit by the Chief of the Air Staff was intended particularl y to strengthen links between the Royal Air Force and the Moroccan air force and discuss matters of common interest.
