Radioactive Packages (Export Licences)

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether any export licences were granted in the years (a) 1970 to May 1979, and (b) May 1979 to the present to Amersham International plc, or its predecessor, the Radiochemical Centre, for shipments of radioactive packages from the United Kingdom to the Centre Etudes NuclĂȘairs at Mol in Belgium.

It has been the practice of successive Governments not to make public information of this kind.
