To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many agencies in Wales have so far declared that they will discontinue their agencies under the new Manpower Services Commission training programme which replaces the Manpower Services Commission community programme.

Local Manpower Services Commission offices in Wales have recently written to potential training providers in their areas inviting them to indicate by 6 June if they intend to take part in employment training. I understand the initial response has been very favourable but full details will not be available until the consultation is complete.
