To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he has any proposals to improve the staying on rate in education after the age of 16 years; and if he will make a statement.

I have no proposals aimed specifically at improving the staying on rate in Northern Ireland secondary schools which is already significantly higher than the average for schools in England and Wales.
