To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the latest figures for male and female unemployment in the Paisley travel-to-work area; and if he will list these in the Official Report.

Paisley is contained within the Glasgow travel-to-work area. Figures showing the number of male and female unemployed claimants in the Glasgow travel-to-work area and for the Paisley parliamentary constituencies on 14 April 1988 (the latest date for which information is available) are shown in the table.
