To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services why the letter, "An Important Message for Widows and Pensioners—Now There's An Easier Way to Get Your Pension", (BR 2196) was not sent out in a bilingual form in Wales; and if he will make a statement.

Pensioners are identified by our Newcastle computer on the basis of pension number. It is not possible to select recipients in Wales, or in any other place.
