To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what were (a) the categories and (b) the numbers of industrial doses of drugs administered to members of each prison in Scotland in the latest year for which figures are available.

No records are maintained centrally of the categories or of the number of doses of drugs administered to inmates in Scottish prisons and this information could be obtained only at a disproportionate cost.
