To ask the Lord President of the Council what accommodation is provided within the House for briefings of the press by (a) the Prime Minister's press secretary and (b) other Government press officers.

No accommodation is provided in the House specifically for this purpose. The Government information service briefs the parliamentary lobby journalists at their invitation in their room in the Palace of Westminster.
